The Gandhara Project
Celebrating the music and the old bond between Afghanistan and India, a fusion of classical and contemporary styling, creating a significant statement in the 21st Century. Ensemble comprises of K. Qais Essar on the Rabab, Anupam Shobhakar on the Sarod, Eric Zang on Kaval, and Neelamjit Dhillon on Tabla. Drawing from classical Hindustani, Carnatic, and Western Progressive influences, the ensemble offers a rare fusion of traditions.
